Brant County Malayalee Association (BCMA) is a non-profit cultural organization incorporated under the laws in the province of Ontario, Canada. It is a voluntary community organization of the people of Kerala (a south Indian State) who reside in the Brantford and Brant County areas in Ontario, Canada.

Why BCMA

Supporting our Malayalee Community

BCMA is envisioned to become a strong, mature and recognized support system for young children, international students, new immigrants, existing families and anyone who would like to be a part of this family. In times of need, BCMA will be a voice for Malayalees as an association. Engaging people in the area through social events and working towards common goals can strengthen support systems and improve connections.

Learn Our Mother Language – Malayalam Classes

The importance of ensuring that our children understand and appreciate the culture of their homeland cannot be overstated. BCMA aims to organize monthly Malayalam classes for children and youth. Contact us for more information.

Promoting Sports & Recreational Activities

BCMA have active plans to promote sports and recreational activities by organizing various sports events (cricket, soccer, badminton tournaments) and recreational activities for its members. Brantford Spartans Cricket Club is an official cricket club playing in Brantford and nearby areas has strong roots with BCMA and also a key factor of the origin of BCMA.

Youth Empowerment

Help kids and teens discover what they are interested in and what they are capable of. Empowering youth involves teaching them about social inclusion and literacy, as well as providing them the resources to be proactive in their communities.

Celebrating Our Culture

BCMA aims to promote the social and cultural integration of Malayalees in Canada. BCMA plans to organize social activities and cultural programs designed to promote cultural integration with other ethnic communities and communities at large.

Members Gatherings

BCMA plans to meet with its members on a regular basis and also on special occasions too.
